I'm pretty new to the TZR250 and two strokes all together.  This one 3xv has a new overhauled engine in it put in by the previous owner.  The bike starts perfectly and runs well up to about 8k after which it starts to lose power and it has all gone by 10k. I suspect (with absolutely no evidence) something to do with the power valves but I don't know where to start so any guidance appreciated.

Asking this because I may need someone to go to either of these places to have a look at the TZ 360 cylinders that were advertised on ebay.  At 2000 english pounds I would like to be sure that I am getting what I paid for. Asked a friend in Portsmith but it is too far from him.
thanks  Peter.

2. Let off the rebound damping using a flat blade screwdriver, and also fully unwind the fork preload adjuster using a 17m...
