3ma Fuel tank
« on: September 14, 2010, 06:21:05 AM »
Hi all, just picked up a 3ma, the tank is a little worse for wear and was wondering if there are any other bikes that have compatible fuel tanks?  If not then any ideas on good sources for a decent one......or is it a case of Yahoo Japan?

Cheers

Hi,

You can try a tzr125 4dl (belgarda) tank, you need to change the air box and fuel cranes. but it will fit.
and its a polyester tank will never rust ;D

Excellent, thanks, is there much of a modification required?  Any pictures?

More importantly is it the kind of restriction that will require a re-jet?

Cheers

Hi leigh,

The mounting points are the same off a tzr125 tank, only the big problem is the air filter box.

I haven't try it myself, so i cant tell you exactly what to do.

here is link that is use full.

Perhaps a szr660 tank will fit, you will have more space fore the airbox, it is all most the same frame as a tzr250 3ma.
You have to investigate it if it will fit, cant tell you

Cheers
