« on: August 09, 2010, 06:20:35 AM »
Hi Guys, Can anyone nip to the garage and take a picture of the connector the 3xv uses to clip onto the battery (ytr4abs). Looking at putting one of these batteries on the RGV but would like to use the propper thing then just spades...

oh anyone got one too sell?

Cheers

I think the only way to get the connector will be to buy a harness.
 (sorry, don't have a pic)
I use the 3XV battery on my h*nda RS125 total loss ignition set up, and have been trying to get my hands on one of those connectors for ever.

Bit late, but I happened to be poking around under the seat of one today so here you go. 3XV fitment battery is relatively weedy at just 1.2ah so I don't know if that would cause any issues on an RGV? You would save a bit of weight though and, it being a gell-cell, you can locate it pretty much wherever you want. I use one on the 3MA for those very reasons.

Cheers.
