Carb overflowing!!
« on: August 15, 2010, 12:30:01 PM »
Hello everyone! This is my first posting, but I've been watching this forum since I purchase my 89 3ma last summer. Left carb won't stop over flowing. (Problem didn't show up till this season). Replaced needle seat o-rings, adjusted float height the whole nine yards. Will not leak when bench testing them, but will start after about 5 to 10 miles of riding. Has anyone ran into the floats becoming fuel saturated and heavy. Also is there a source for the petcock rubber (seal with the four holes) for the on/off/prime selector. Thank you all very much!

Tank debris getting to the float valves and wedging them open? It usually is... Clean and flush the tank, taps and hoses maybe?
Still smoking...
