Well, having far too much spare time on my hands this PM, I decided to check the torque on the clutch boss nut using the correct method with a locking tool, as I had span it on previously using a rattle gun when I did the last rebuild.
I have been paranoid ever since that it was going to work loose.
I couldn't believe it when I heard a span and a finger broke off the basket.
Anyhow, if anyone has a 2MA basket knocking around that they don't mind parting with, I will be grateful.
Off to reflect on my workshop skills
