TZR 2MA/1KT carb repair kit ..........

Is there such a thing for the TZR/TDR/R1-Z carbs in the UK ?

Had a look on ebay and can find many keyster kits but nothing TZR/TDR/R1-Z 250 ?

Are TDR 125 or RD 500 carbs the same ?

While i'm asking doe's anyone kno the modle number for TZR/TDR/R1-Z carbs ?

Have found this add for 350 LC carbs on ebay and the neadle & seat look like the bits i'm after

Don't fancy paying £50 for a yam kit from granbys !!!!

I get all my carb bits from nrp-carbs check them on the net.  The web site has never been finished but if you send them an email they get back to you in about 48 hours.

For my 2MA they have supplied float valve seats with float needle, float bowl gaskets at an affordable price.

They did quote me for genuine mikuni atomiser(emulsion tubes) and needles but these not cheap.

The jets and float do not seem to suffer from wear as they are not moving parts.

Found the following info by trawling the net & stripping the carb ......

Carbs = TM28SS

Float Seat Flow Rate = 2.8

Price for float needle, seat, o ring .....

Yamaha £46.58

Allens £17.32
