Bought my 2MA from Marc Jaeger in Canada and had it shipped to the States.  Found new bodywork, Jolly Motos, Moto Tassinari reed blocks, carbs bored to 30mm, two sets of cylinders ported, one by George Grabowski and one by Geoff Battick, 4FL rear whell, R6 front rotor, blah blah . . . . When Jim Comrie started building a 400 cc motor for his 2MA out of DT00 barrels, i decided to try the 340 route -- two Athena 170cc kits mated with a custom head, plus RGV250 34mm carbs with custom intake mounts.  I also have a programmable ignition and YPVS controller . . . It's taken almost two years, but it's going to the track next month!

hi all, first off, big up to whoever it is that has done this forum (ash33?).
Ive came over from neil.nu(can I say that?), so thanks a lot.
Im Mark,NW England, UK. currently trying to bring back from the dead a 3MA1 that has been in bits in my mates garage for over 15years, aiming more biased to a race bike(tho without the TZ stuff mostly) than road going, so unfortunately for the purists not standard.

HI Guys and welcome to TZR250.com.

I'll try and have the boards from Neils site up to fill in the pages ASAP.

I have uploaded all of the old forums user accounts so if you want to see if you can sign in to your old account you will need to resubmit your password.

Love all 2 strokes, particulary Yam's, but only have a  500 at the mo ::)
Keep trying to buy a 2ma/3ma/3xv, but no luck yet.
Hopefully this new site will change that  ;)
Must stop buying any more bikes! Oh go on then, maybe one more!

Hello all my name is Anthony, I am from California and I just recently purchased a 1992 3xv its being delivered this weekend and I will be needing some pipes and jets and all the goodies. I am glad I found this site and hopefully I can learn alot from you experts. I've owned a Rzv500, a Rz350 and a million Ysr's in the past but this is my first TZR. Always wanted one and now I got one. I currently own a 1989 Fzr400, 2 Ysr's, a 1986 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, a 1965 Yamaha YJ1 and a 1990 h*nda NS50F. Any directions in finding pipes for my 3xv would be very appreciated.

I'm Beau. Live in Florida and have a 1992 3XV SP. Two strokes are the way to go! Raced a RZ350 and FZR750 several years ago but this TZR is by far the best handling bike I have ever ridden! My buddy has several 87 & 88 3MA's an 89 & 90 and several Canadian 350's. He finally pick up a 94 3XV a couple of months ago. Hope to learn a few things here and possibly pick up some parts if needed.

My name is Glenn. I am from Texas and own a '89 3ma. I also have a 1974 RD 350. I hope that this site stays up because I have seen a lot of TZR sites come and go. Cheers.

I suppose its going to take a while for all us die hards to get used to the new forum.

Are the old topics going to be ported across ?
The older I get the better I was...

I've been working on it a lot and had the forum down due to conflicts a couple of times too.
One way or another the old threads will be migrated here, even if I have to do it one at a time......... ::)
